Crazy call from a telemarketer. I get a lot of these, so I, in general, loathe them. Now, I understand that they're just trying to do their job, and I understand that. What I don't understand is why you're so stupid.
MaxPowers: Thank you for calling [Some Company], how can I help you?
Telemarketer: Can I speak to the person in charge of advertising?
MP: They're not available, I can take a message. (Note: This is my standard greeting, I say this, oh, 9000 times a day)
TM: Can I get the name of the person who's in charge of that?
MP: I'm not sure, but noone's available, so I can take a message.
TM: Is this the manager or owner?
MP: What? No.
Now here's what baffles me. I do not know who is in charge of advertising, and I don't. Seriously. Like most accounts, I have little to no information on this company. So what would possibly make you think THAT I'M A MANAGER? What the heck? I figure it's either one of 2 things:
1)You think I'm lying to you. Clever, but wrong.
2)You're an idiot.
I'll take number 2 for a 1,000 Alex
